When it comes to applying for a job, most people are familiar with the process. From the job application to the interview stage, candidates have to complete a number of steps based on a traditional applicant tracking system. To get a better understanding of how the impact of AI is set to shape the industry’s future, we’ve surveyed recruiters and HR professionals in the UK for their views.
The survey findings show that there are mixed views when it comes to the deployment of AI within the industry, with only 10% of women trusting a robot to help them hire compared to 27% of men. But at the same time AI also offers immense possibilities, with 68% of recruiters stating that workload management will be improved and 56% stating AI will improve diversity when it comes to hiring.
Only time will tell how AI will shape the future of HR and recruitment, but no matter what happens next, there is no doubt AI will play a role.
