Product Returns
What is it?
At RS we want you to be entirely happy and satisfied with everything you buy from us. That's why we offer our returns guarantee.
If you're unhappy with your purchase for any reason within 30 days of receiving your products, we are more than happy to arrange the return of your products in line with our terms and conditions. Please note that any product returned for reasons of 'Customer Error' will incur a processing charge of 20%.*
What do I need to do?
You can request a return online through 'My Account' via your order history or the online returns form. Or you can request a return via phone on 01536 201 201Once you have requested your return, you will be provided with a returns number. If you are returning a product(s) that you ordered in error, you can return this immediately to the address below (you need to pre-pay postage and a processing charge will apply).
If the product is faulty, we will arrange collection once the returns form has been processed, and no processing charge will be payable
.Please make sure the items are replaced in their original packaging, packed securely and clearly labelled. Please ensure the returns number is clearly visible on the outside of your packaging and clearly marked with the below returns address:

*For non-business customers who wish to return a product to RS for reasons of 'Customer error', there will be no processing charge if it is returned within 30 days of delivery.
For terms and conditions, please see Section 12 of the 'Cancellations and Returns' in our conditions of sale. It is your responsibility to make sure the items are securely packaged, labelled and transported in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations (including those relating to the transport of hazardous materials).
Returning batteries
Please send lithium-ion and lithium-metal batteries with the relevant health and safety label clearly attached to the package.

Limitations
RS is not able to accept the following as returns:
Software;calibrated products;production packaging products;non-catalogue products;extended range products; andspecially manufactured products.
In addition, RS will not accept returned ESD sensitive devices where the integrity of the original RS ESD shielding packaging has been compromised e.g. the bag has been opened and resealed or multiple bags have been stapled together.
