RS Components can support your new equipment and project needs with a comprehensive range of test and measurement instruments. New products can be supplied ready calibrated and certified, and we also offer a great re-calibration service to ensure your existing equipment is accurately calibrated (you don’t need to have purchased the equipment from RS to use our calibration services).
What RS offers
RS has over 3,000 test and measurement instruments which can be calibrated to RS standard or UKAS accredited standards. We can calibrate new and old equipment whether it was purchased from RS or not.
Our services:
- Accredited ILAC UKAS calibration certification
- Re-calibration service – takes around 4 days from receipt of item and payment
- Receive a calibration quote within 24 hours
- New instruments purchased from RS can be calibrated and dispatched within 2 days of order receipt
- Support from Original Equipment Manufacturers for repair and adjustment
Why use accredited services?
There are some companies out there who will provide calibration certificates that are not officially accredited. Where they cannot demonstrate that measurements are traceable to UK national standards and are not accredited by UKAS, their certification will not be widely accepted.
Using an accredited laboratory will:
- Reduce the risk of rejection of tenders
- Minimise risks to contracts
- Reduce restrictions as to who you can trade with
- Ensure you maintain your reputation
Certification generated by RS Calibration's UKAS accredited laboratory will demonstrate to your customers that your quality management is best in class and compliance has been maintained.
