Terms and Conditions

Entry Information:

Entries must be submitted by either:

• Completing the webform available here or by writing to RS Components Ltd, GR MotoSport Competition, Marketing Department, Birchington Road, Corby, Northants, NN17 9RS stating your name, account number and contact details
• The opening date for entries is 00.01 on 22 June 2021. The closing date of the prize draw is 23.59 on 31 August 2021. Entries received after this time will NOT be considered.
• RS Components accepts no responsibility for competition entries that are not successfully completed, submitted or received by the Closing Date for any reason, including, for example, due to a technical fault or other equipment failures of any kind.

Eligibility Requirements:

• The prize draw is open to UK and Ireland residents aged 16 and over as of the date of entry. Written parental consent is required if the entrant is under 18. RS Components may ask the winner to provide proof of age.
• This competition is not open to anyone living in a country, province, or state where this competition is prohibited, taxed, or otherwise restricted (for example which prohibits unregistered competitions or contests or requires RS Components to post a bond) under national, federal, provincial, state, or local laws, rules, or regulations.

In particular, customers located in Italy, Iran, Syria, Afghanistan, Cuba, or North Korea are ineligible to participate.
This competition is not open to employees (or their immediate family members) of the Electrocomponents plc group of companies.

All entrants employed by a customer of RS Components must check their employer’s policies to ensure they are permitted to enter. You may not enter if your employer prohibits participation in competitions, or receiving gifts from, suppliers such as RS.


Judging the Competition:

• The winner of the competition will be selected randomly from all qualifying entries received prior to the Closing Date.
• The decision of RS Components regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.

Prize Information:

• The first prize comprising of: A Kawasaki Ninja 650 MY 2021 bike in GR MotoSport livery, a pair of VIP tickets to the Donington Park race event on Saturday 2 October 2021 (includes hospitality breakfast and lunch at the GR MotoSport team base at the event, introduction and photo opportunity with the racing team, behind the scenes tour and refreshments throughout the day) and an exclusive GR MotoSport / RS PRO bundle comprising of GR MotoSport branded baseball cap and RS PRO automotive mixed spanner set. The items included in this first prize will be presented to the winner at this race event. Insurance and road tax is the responsibility of the winner.
• The second prize comprising of: A pair of VIP tickets to a day of your choice at either the Donington Park race event on either 2 or 3 October 2021 or the Brands Hatch race event on either 16 or 17 October 2021 (includes hospitality breakfast and lunch at the GR MotoSport team base on the chosen date, introduction and photo opportunity with the racing team, behind the scenes tour and refreshments throughout the day) and an exclusive GR MotoSport / RS PRO bundle comprising of GR MotoSport branded baseball cap and RS PRO automotive mixed spanner set.Fifty prizes comprising of an exclusive GR MotoSport 2021 baseball cap
• Fifty prizes comprising of an exclusive GR MotoSport 2021 baseball cap

Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable and no cash alternative is offered.

• The prize is supplied by RS Components, Birchington Road, Corby, Northants, NN17 9RS and GR MotoSport, 155 Derbyshire Lane, Norton Lees, Sheffield S8 8SA UK. RS Components reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the reasonable control of RS Components make it necessary to do so. We are reliant on a third party to provide the prizes.

Winner Announcement:

• Winner(s) will be announced by social media and on the RS website on 10 September 2021.
• Winners will also be notified by email or telephone (using the details provided at entry) as soon as reasonably practicable after the Announcement Date.
• In order to claim the first prize, you must be able to attend the Donington Park race event on Saturday 2 October 2021 where the bike and RS PRO / GR MotoSport bundle will be presented by the GR MotoSport team and you and your guest will receive your VIP tickets for the day. The second prize winner must provide their race of choice for VIP tickets by 17 September 2021. The winners will receive full instructions for ticket collection by email / telephone. Any products will be mailed within 28 days of being notified of the win OR if you are the winner you will have 7 of days from the Announcement Date to claim the prize by responding to the email / telephone notification call .

General

• By submitting an entry, entrants will be deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. RS Components reserves the right to refuse entry or to refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these Terms and Conditions.
• Insofar as is permitted by law, RS Components will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of RS Components or its agents or employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
• If you are a winner of the competition, you agree that RS Components may use your name, image, town or country of residence to announce the winner of this competition and for any other reasonable and related promotional purposes. You further agree to participate in any reasonable publicity required by RS Components.
• All competition entries and any accompanying material submitted to RS Components will become the property of RS Components on receipt and will not be returned. By submitting your competition entry and any accompanying material, you agree to: (a) assign to RS Components all your intellectual property rights with full title guarantee; and (b) waive all moral rights, in and to your competition entry and otherwise arising in connection with your entry to which you may now or at any time in the future be entitled under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 as amended from time to time and under all similar legislation from time to time in force anywhere in the world.
• Entries made on the internet will be deemed made by the authorised account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. In the event of a dispute, potential winners may be required to provide proof that the potential winner is the authorised account holder of the e-mail address associated with the potentially winning entry.
• RS Components will process your personal data as set out in: https://uk.rs-online.com/web/generalDisplay.html?id=aboutRS/privacy-policy. By entering the competition, you agree, in particular, that any personal information provided by you with the competition entry may be held and used by RS Components or its agents and suppliers to administer the competition and may be passed on to third party suppliers if required for fulfilment/delivery/arrangement of the prize.

RS Components reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend or amend the competition where it becomes necessary to do so.

The prize draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts. The promoter of this competition is RS Components Limited, Birchington Road, Weldon, Corby, Northamptonshire, NN17 9RS, United Kingdom (referred to as “RS Components” in these terms and conditions).
