What is RS doing?

RS is fully compliant with The Batteries and Accumulators (Placing on the Market) Regulations 2008.

The Directive applies to all types of batteries and accumulators, regardless of their shape, volume, weight, material composition or use, placed on the market on or after 26 September 2008. These include all industrial, automotive and portable batteries.

RS is also now fully compliant with The Waste Batteries and Accumulators Regulations 2009.

As a producer of batteries, we have registered with the scheme operated by Batteryback, and our Battery Producer Registration Number is:

BPRN00491
