The B&R Industrial Automation GmbH Bus Controller enables X2X Link I/O modules to be connected to EtherCAT and operated with any EtherCAT master system. EtherCAT slave devices extract their data from passing telegrams and insert input data in the same way, enabling high-speed communication. This bus controller also allows flexible transitions between IP20 and IP67 protection outside the control cabinet by combining X20, X67, or XV modules as needed, with spacing of up to 100 meters.
