Allen Bradley Guardmaster MatGuard External Corner, 96 x 96mm, Aluminium - 440F-T3012

This external corner from Rockwell Automation's Allen Bradley Guardmaster range is an important component for your 440F MatGuard safety mat. These pressure-sensitive mats detect movement on their surface and trigger the connected machinery to stop. The external corners keep the mat securely fastened in place to prevent dead spots in the sensors. The MatGuard is kept completely sealed by the corner's IP67 (ingress protection), which prevents any water, liquids and coolants from harming the pressure sensors.

Features and Benefits

• 96 x 96mm corner provides tight connection between two 2m perimeter trims
• Cable channel has room for up to three cables for versatile use
• Aluminium material is corrosion-resistant for use in wet environments
• Robust 16mm thickness for durability and long life

Standards and Certifications

• EN (European Norm)
• ISO (International Organization for Standardization)
• IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission)
• ANSI (American National Standards Institute)
• AS (Aerospace Safety)

What are the best conditions for installing this corner?

The surface must be even, with no sharp drops, to protect the internal sensors. The corner should have no gaps between it and the floor to prevent a tripping hazard. Ensure the centres of cables are used in the corner channel so no adaptors are put under stress by the sharp turn.
