Eaton Residual Current Circuit Breaker With Overcurrent Protection, 1+N Poles - PXK-B Series - PXK-B10/1N/003-A

This Eaton RCBO (residual current breaker with overcurrent protection) automatically disconnects the electric current in the event of a malfunction. If leakage measuring 30mA occurs, the RCBO kicks into action and disables the entire system, preventing possible electrocution as well as damage to your system. You can install this circuit breaker as a protective measure against overcurrent and earth leakage in devices that function with voltages up to 240V. It's suitable for regulating current flow in power-control systems.

• Non-delayed tripping initiates instantaneous trip if a short circuit is detected, limiting damage
• IP20 (ingress protection 20) for resistance to dust, helping to prevent corrosion
• Partial protection against sudden electrical surges up to 250A
• High 10kA breaking capacity means greater durability in the event of malfunction

Does this Type B Eaton RCBO provide the same protection as an MCB?

Both devices have the same general functionality of protecting electrical systems from malfunctions. However, a MCB (miniature circuit breaker) doesn't provide complete protection against electrical shock. MCBs are generally used in small installations that require low current, whereas this RCBO is used in higher-voltage installations.
