IMI Norgren Double-Action Pneumatic Cylinder, 10mm Stroke, 32mm Bore - RT/57200/M Series - RT/57232/M/10

Use this pneumatic cylinder from IMI Norgren to generate linear motion in your automated system. It’s made from durable stainless steel that offers reliable resistance to corrosion, so it's suitable for use in damp or humid industrial environments. The piston ends come with aluminium covers to protect them from rust and ensure they can perform in high temperatures. As this cylinder is fitted with nitrile seals and buffer cushioning to limit friction, noise and impact forces, it delivers a long service life. It's suitable for use with both lubricated and non-lubricated compressed air to suit your system's needs.

Features & Benefits

• Double-crimped end cap is strong and secure

• NBR (nitrile-butadiene rubber) O-rings are silicone-free for minimal environmental impact

• Operating temperature range between +2°C and +80°C for use in extreme environments

• Wide operating pressure range between 1 and 10 bar for versatile use including in high-pressure systems

Applications

• Factory automation

• Manufacturing

• Packaging machinery

How does a double-acting cylinder work?

A double-acting cylinder like this one works by forcing air in and out of two different ports. This makes it faster, stronger and more energy-efficient than single-acting alternatives that use one port and a spring-return mechanism.
