The B&R Industrial Automation GmbH Interface Module is designed to connect complex devices to the X20 system beyond standard I/O. The X20CS communication modules provide a CAN bus interface for serial, remote connection of such devices. Like other X20 electronics modules, they can be installed anywhere on the remote backplane and include an integrated terminating resistor for reliable communication.
