RS PRO Liquid Acrylic Adhesive, 250 ml
You can use this RS PRO acrylic adhesive to effectively bond small lap and butt joints on cast acrylics and other materials such as polycarbonate (PC), polystyrene (PS) and polyethylene terephthalate glycol (PETG) plastics. The adhesive is an excellent choice when you need to fill small gaps in your application.
It consists of a ready-mixed, solvent-based acrylic cement that solidifies as the solvent evaporates. The bond is further strengthened when the adhesive is absorbed by the surfaces it joins. It's developed to minimise drying time and prevent 'skinning' occurring with solvent-based cement.
The product is suitable for general fabrication work, usually for internal applications. You can see acrylic adhesives used to create bonds between vehicle components in the automotive industry and they're also used in the fabrication of signs as well as point of sale displays.
