Tee Hinges

A Tee Hinge, as the name suggests, has a T shaped configuration with a long horizontal plate that runs along the front a of door or gate and a vertical plate which is attached to the door frame or gate post. These two plates are joined by a central pin or rod allowing them to rotate in the same way as a butt hinge. The long plate of the Tee hinge provides strength and stability to the door or gate, helps with the even distribution of weight, and ensures a smooth swinging motion.
