The Jumo 3 pole mechanical safety temperature limiter is very robust due to its zinc-plated sheet steel case with ceramic socket and can also be used in rough conditions. The measuring system used operates on the thermal expansion principle and can be used without any problems up to a maximum permissible probe temperature of 135°C. The smooth round sensor made of high quality stainless steel has a diameter of 6 mm with a probe length of approx. 75 mm. The electrical connection is made at the tab connectors (A 6.3 x 0.8 DIN 46244) of the switching unit, which can directly switch a maximum permissible switching capacity of AC 480V / 30A. After the temperature has fallen below the limit value by the hazard temperature, the device can be unlocked simply by pressing a button. The safety temperature limiter can be used very flexibly and is suitable for all applications in which 3 phases are to be switched at the same time.
