These reliable interlock switches are expertly designed for use in demanding applications, as they feature a robust stainless-steel head which provides superior resistance to wear and tear, extending service life.

These switches can be fitted to the leading edge of hinged, sliding and lift-off machine guard doors and are universal tongue (or key) operated interlocking devices. They feature dual key entry slots and rotatable heads, which can be adjusted by releasing the cover screws. They offer four actuator entry points, providing greater functionality. These cost-effective switches have 3 sets of contacts and are simple to install.

The Trojan 5 GD2 can be operated by inserting specially profiled stainless-steel key, which is attached to the leading edge of the guard door. This switch electrically interlocks the control circuit of a machine to its guard, ensuring that power is isolated when the barrier is open and minimising risk of injury.

Stock no. 792-3089 is supplied with a an alignment guide with fully flexible actuator, stock no. 873-2203 is supplied with a GD2 standard actuator, for stock no. 351-3975 actuators must be purchased separately.

The 440K-T11339 Trojan 5 GD2 tongue interlock safety switch has Make Before Break action (the new connection is made before previous connection is broken), with 2NC/1NO contacts, a standard type actuator, and M20 conduit entry.
