The B&R Industrial Automation GmbH Interface Module is designed for redundant operation of controllers with a fieldbus redundancy link. It complies with IEEE Std 802.3, 2002 edition, clause 38. The module features 1x duplex LC variant with a transfer rate of 1 Gbit/s. It uses the 1000BASE-SX physical layer and operates at a wavelength of 850 nm. The cable fibber type is multimode fibber with 62.5/125 μm or 50/125 μm core diameter, and it has LC connectors on both sides.
