This RS PRO white nylon rod is a reliable material for making components that are both strong and lightweight. It's a versatile product that's suitable for a range of applications as its good machining properties mean you can use the 500 mm length to produce a number of smaller parts.

The rod's nylon 66 material is chemically resistant and has a good level of impact strength, ensuring long-lasting and reliable performance. You can rest assured that it's safe for use in demanding environments as it has a UL (Underwriters' Laboratories) HB (Horizontal Burning) rating, meaning it burns very slowly when exposed to flames.

This product is ideal for high-temperature applications thanks to its high melting point and ability to withstand temperatures of up to +170°C. It's often used in aircraft wheels, gears and bearings, as well as packaging and food processing machines.
