RS PRO White Nylon Rod, 1 m x 16 mm Diameter

This RS PRO white nylon rod can be used to make engineering components that are both strong and lightweight. It has a one-metre length and is highly machinable, allowing you to adapt the rod's shape and size according to your needs.

The rod's UL HB (Underwriters' Laboratories Horizontal Burning) grade means it will burn slowly, so it's safe to use in environments where flames may be present. The chemically resistant nylon 66 material offers a high level of impact strength, ensuring a long and reliable product life.

It has a high melting point and can withstand temperatures of up to +170°C, making it ideal for high-temperature applications. It's commonly used for wheels, bearings and gears in aerospace equipment, as well as food processing and packaging machinery.
