RS PRO Black Nylon Rod, 1 m x 20 mm Diameter

If you want to fabricate and repair your own equipment, add this RS PRO black nylon rod to your toolbox. It's used in industrial and business settings, including building sites, welding facilities and fabrication workshops.

This durable rod adds strength to structures as it's made of extruded nylon 6 that contains molybdenum disulfide for hardness and enhanced tensile ability. It's also resistant to oils, grease and petrol, so you can lubricate it without causing damage. For your convenience, the material is easy to weld, bond, machine and polish.

This part is Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) certified, meaning it contains only minimal amounts of any harmful materials. It's frequently used to fabricate friction bearings or pulleys and to connect machine parts.
