CM-MSS Series Thermistor Motor Protection Relays

Heavy duty starting
Increased switching frequency
High ambient temperature
Insufficient cooling
Break operation
Unbalance

The CM range of thermistor motor protection relays are used to control motors equipped with PTC temperature sensors. The PTC temperature sensors are incorporated in the motor windings to measure the motor heating. This enables direct control and evaluation of the following operating conditions:

Main features include:
Dynamic interrupted wire detection
Wide control supply voltage range for this series 24-240 V AC/DC
Short circuit monitoring of the sensor circuit
Non-volatile fault storage
Remote reset
Screw connection technology or Easy Connect Technology available

Single Sensor Input Version
Wire Break Detection

Approvals

Some products also have the ATEX approval for the use in hazardous areas.
