If application has limited internal space, SIM connector hinge type has advantage of loading sim card through top side. This is made with insert molding, contact pin embedded into plastic housing to form a integrated connector. It makes connector more stable while inserting SIM card. The contact area of the pins are rounded and smooth, providing more stable contact. It is used in IOT applications such as smart meter, Vehicle tracker, Fleet telematics, EV charger, 5G router.
