Allen Bradley 1492 SP Series Miniature Circuit Breakers – Type C

Experience high performance and exceptional protection for electrical circuits with the general purpose 1492-SPM Type C Miniature Circuit Breakers by Allen Bradley.

These 1492-SPM MCB’s have type C tripping and fast breaking time to provide a higher level of safety for your application. They include screw terminals, are IP20 finger safe, and can be DIN rail mounted for optimal convenience. They are current-limiting and are available in 1, 2 or 3 pole versions, offering more versatility to meet your requirements. They also have dual terminals for wiring and bus bar flexibility. These units have excellent shock and vibration resistance which helps to prevent nuisance tripping, avoiding unnecessary downtime. Up to six accessories can be installed on the same circuit breaker to enable easy optimisation of your safety system.

Type C MCB’s are suitable for use in commercial and light industrial applications, such as fluorescent lighting and small electric motors, and are designed to trip at currents between five and ten times their rated load.

Features and Benefits:

• Available in 1, 2 or 3 pole versions to suit your application needs

Allen Bradley Mini Circuit Breaker, 10kA Breaking Capacity, 1A Current Rating - 1492-SPM2C010

Protect your electrical equipment with this sensitive mini circuit breaker (MCB) from Rockwell Automation's Allen Bradley range. This circuit breaker has an instantaneous break time, which means it will react instantly to protect your equipment when it detects a current change. The component is a 2-pole device, so you can use it to control two circuits, which reduces the amount of wiring and space required for your setup. As a Type-C unit, it's suitable for commercial and light industrial applications such as small electric motors.

• Light-emitting diode (LED) indicator for clear sight of contact state – red for closed, green for open• Mechanical life of 20,000 operations for long service life• Thermal magnetic tripping mechanism for quick and sensitive response to overloads• Excellent shock and vibration resistance prevents false tripping

Standards and Certifications

• CE (Conformité Européenne)• CCC (China Compulsory Certificate)• VDE (Association for Electrical, Electronics and Information Technologies)

What's the difference between an MCB and an RCCB?

The difference is that a residual current circuit breaker (RCCB) has a test trip button, while a mini circuit breaker (MCB) doesn't.
