Sensata Cynergy3 Internal Vertical Float Switch, 120V DC, 240V AC - RSF50 Series - RSF56Y050TB

This compact vertical float switch from Sensata Cynergy3 is ideal for monitoring liquid levels in vending machines and printing systems. You can fit it to either the top or bottom of a tank, and the user-configurable sensor can be inverted to reverse its switch action for added versatility. A polyphenylene sulphide (PPS) material composition gives the float good resistance to aggressive chemicals and high process temperatures of up to +120°C. The sensor is supplied with lead-outs for a convenient electrical connection.

Features & Benefits

• Silicone and Viton gasket that's highly durable and retains its shape in harsh conditions for improved reliability
• Cable length of 500mm for connections in tight spaces

What's the difference between a switch float sensor and a continuous level sensor?

Switch-type float level sensors provide an on or off signal at a specific liquid level and typically activate an alarm or provide a signal to turn a pump or valve on and off. Continuous level float sensors provide analog data that's continuously updated as the liquid level changes. They're commonly connected to a programmable digital display or wired to a programmable logic controller (PLC).
