For versatile use, you can easily change the switch operation from normally open to normally closed by removing and inverting the float. You can use this component in your printing systems and chemical closing equipment.

Features & Benefits

• Robust polyvinylidene fluoride construction for resistance to heat, chemicals and wear
• Wide operating temperature range between -10°C and +105°C for use in demanding environments
• Viton gasket material is resistant to chemicals, moisture and abrasion for a leakproof seal

How does a vertical float switch work?

A vertical float switch consists of a reed switch and a pivoted magnet for both NO and NC operations. Changing fluid levels open or close the reed switch at specific calibrated levels to prevent overflows and underfilling.
