RS PRO First Aid Station

RS PRO brings you the ultimate first aid solution for any workplace with the First Aid Station. It is combining a British Standard compliant first aid kit in a durable Evolution case with specially designed dispensers for plasters, wound wipes and eye wash pods. Every item is wall-mounted to form a well-stocked panel of first aid essentials alongside crucial first aid guidance for emergencies.
The case comes with a wall bracket featuring an innovative one-handed quick-release catch, and 2 tamper-proof studs to deter people from opening the kit unnecessarily. This greatly simplifies regular first aid inspections (as recommended by the HSE) as you can see at a glance whether the kit has been opened and contents removed.
To ensure the first aid kit won’t be opened for minor incidents, the RS PRO First Aid Kit Station includes three handy dispensers to give quick access to popular items without depleting the kit.
Plasters are the most commonly used item and the most likely to be taken for home use, to prevent this a specially designed dispenser exposes the adhesive on the plaster for immediate use. The dispenser is locked to prevent the plaster packet from being removed.
In addition, this kit contains an eyewash dispenser featuring 20ml sterile saline eyewash pods, for rinsing small irritants out of the eye or to cleanse wounds.
Finally, the sterile moist wipe dispenser includes individually wrapped sterile wipes which are suitable for cleaning wounds and surrounding skin before applying a dressing.
The station is supplied with a plastic A5 frame and 4 first aider inserts, allowing you to write the names and locations of up to five first aiders, so people know where to turn if an injury or emergency occurs.
Each component fits onto an eye-catching poster with designated areas for each item alongside clear step-by-step first aid guidance with illustrations, giving easy access to lifesaving information including how to do the primary survey and perform CPR.
Wall fixings and instructions are provided.

Applications

It is essential to have first aid supplies in the workplace and home environment. First aid equipment and eyewash stations are essential where hazardous chemicals and equipment are used. When it comes to eye injuries, it is important that you have eye washing facilities close by for the health and safety of everyone. By acting fast to emergency injuries you could prevent further damage.

Warning

If any wound is severe or conditions persist or worsen after first aid has been supplied, seek a medical professional immediately.
