RS PRO, SMA Fibre Optic Connector 200 μm Fibre Size, 2 dB Insertion Loss

RS PRO's high-precision in-line connector is used to join together individual lengths of terminated optical leads. These connectors are also a very efficient way to terminate cables, allowing for quick and easy insertion and disconnection.

It's compatible with Sub-Miniature Version A (SMA) screw-threaded fibre optic cables and provides a tight, secure connection point with minimal loss of light for an uninterrupted signal. Using this connector results in an insertion loss of energy of only 2 dB, ensuring you keep as much signal as possible as it travels through the cables.

The bulkhead is made from bronze-beryllium, an incredibly strong and tough metal that ensures a longer lifespan for the connector. It's designed for panel mounting, which helps reduce strain on the wires and keeps them stable and less susceptible to vibrations. The rest of the connector is made of nickel-plated brass, a material highly resistant to corrosion and wear.
