Rockwell Automation IEC 1492-PG6T Push-In Grounding Terminal Block

Upgrade your wiring system and experience superior connection reliability with the 1492-PG6T terminal block by Rockwell Automation.

The 1492-PG6T unit is a single-level feed-through terminal block which is designed for ultimate ease-of-use. This grounding bus makes use of push-in connectivity, which ensures no retightening is necessary and needs a low insertion force. Plastic actuators provide shock prevention, making it a safer choice for your application. This terminal block can save you up to 65% wiring time compared to screw-type models when installed using a ferrule. It also has a wide housing temperature range of -60 to 130°C (-76…266°F).
Dimensions (W x H x L): 8.1x 45.5 x 84.5 mm

Features and Benefits:

• Green/Yellow housing ensures easy visibility and identification of the block
• Convenient ONE-hand, ONE-second insertion
• Quick and effortless mounting via DIN rail
• Compact size allows efficient organisation into your wiring system

How does a ferrule work?

A ferrule is a small metal tube component which is placed over a section of stranded wire, usually made of tin-coated copper. The wire can then be compressed by a crimping tool, thereby holding the strands together. It can then be easily and securely pushed into terminal blocks without any tools, much like solid wire, and improves connection integrity.
