Fluke Energy Monitor & Logger, ±(0.2%+0.01%) Accuracy, 500V Maximum Measurement - FLUKE-1732/EUS

This energy monitor & logger records and stores three-phase electrical parameters for onsite analysis and remote review. Designed for industrial environments, it captures voltage, current, power, power factor, energy and harmonic content while operating from the measured circuit or its internal Li‑Ion battery. The instrument supports local display and wireless or wired data transfer for facility-wide energy assessment and load studies.

Features & Benefits

• 16-bit resolution synchronous sampling for precise waveform capture
• Measures up to 500V and wide current ranges for varied circuits
• IEC 61010 CAT IV 600V / CAT III 1000V rating for service-entrance use
• Rogowski/clamp auto-detection for Rapid probe setup
• Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth and USB data transfer for flexible downloads
• Internal flash memory stores extended logging sessions

**Applications**

• Suitable for load studies to assess circuit capacity and peaks
• Ideal for energy assessments before and after efficiency upgrades
• Used for power and energy logging to quantify kWh and demand
• Can be used with auxiliary sensors to correlate temperature or pressure
• Suitable for monitoring power factor and THD voltage–current analyser tasks

How long will it run on battery between charges?

The user-replaceable Li‑Ion battery typically provides around four hours in standard mode and up to 5.5 hours in power-saving mode with a charge time under 6 hours.

What measurement intervals and storage capacity are available?

Averaging intervals range from 1 s to 30 min and the internal flash can typically hold ten logging sessions of eight weeks at 1‑minute intervals.

Which interfaces enable remote monitoring and file transfer?

Data can be downloaded via USB‑A flash drive or USB‑mini to PC, and remote acquisition and control are supported over Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth for compatible modules.

Which parameters does it log simultaneously?

It logs rms voltage, rms current, THD, active/reactive/apparent power, power factor, fundamental power and energy along with auxiliary inputs.

What environmental conditions can it tolerate for field use?

Operable from -10 °C to +50 °C with specified humidity limits and an IP50 enclosure rating for typical industrial sites.

Note

CRITICAL SAFETY ALERT - PLEASE READ! Fluke has determined that certain improper use of the test lead set, 3PHVL-1730 or 3PHVL-1735-5M 'Voltage Test Lead, 3-phase + N', included with the 173x Series, 174x Series Power Quality Loggers and 3540FC Power Monitor, may potentially expose users to hazardous conditions, posing the risk of Serious personal injury or death.
