Ultralife Lithium 9V Battery PP3
The Ultralife lithium 9V Battery is built with a tough ultrasonic welded, leak-proof canister and features an aluminium plastic housed case reducing the amount of moisture exposed to the battery, enhancing the battery life . The batteries are high energy density, up to 5x more than alkaline and up to 10x more than carbon zinc equivalents.
The batteries are designed for applications that require long lasting efficiency and devices that are on standby for long periods of time such as smoke alarms or ideal for environments where it may be used in low temperatures or uncontrolled heat and humidity conditions. These batteries typically operate in extreme temperatures ranging from -20 °C to 60 °C.

FAQs
Are Lithium Batteries hazardous?
Battery malfunctions can cause overheating, or thermal runaways. This may result in fires, explosions or gas leaks. Additionally, lithium batteries can go into thermal runaway when they come in contact with an external heat source, such as fire. Due to these safety concerns, lithium batteries are considered hazardous materials if not handled in the correct manner.
This risk is reduced by not mixing different manufacturer battery types, batteries of different chemistries and by the replacement of all batteries at the same time.
