20a Slow-Blow Fuse
A 20A slow-blow fuse is an electrical safety device designed to protect circuits and electrical equipment from overcurrent conditions. This type of fuse is rated to carry up to 20 amperes of current under normal operating conditions, but it features a delayed response to overcurrent’s. This delay allows the fuse to tolerate temporary current surges while still providing protection against sustained overloads.
Slow-blow fuses are often used in applications where short-term current spikes are common, striking a balance between protection and operational tolerance. When the overcurrent condition exceeds a critical level and persists, the fuse will eventually blow to interrupt the circuit and prevent damage to the electrical system and connected devices.
