For a safe series connection the use of the normally open contacts at the termination points 2.5 and 2.6, as well as 3.5 and 3.6 is necessary.
For a safe parallel connection the use of the normally closed contacts of both relays at the termination points 2.4 and 2.5 respectively 3.4 and 3.5 is mandatory
