Phoenix Contact Galvanic Barrier, 125V DC, 253V AC - MACX MCR-EX-SL-NAM-R-SP - 2924045

This galvanic barrier from Phoenix Contact is an isolation amplifier that isolates high DC (direct current) levels from your device while passing a low AC (alternating current) signal. The barrier provides extra safety to your electrical device by protecting your input and output circuits from each other.
If an error occurs in this unit, the LED (light-emitting diode) indicator will illuminate to let you know. There's also an indicator that signals supply voltage and switching state, making it simple to use. The device has three-way isolation, controlling two separate output signals at one time while preventing short circuit hazards and current interference for greater safety and efficiency.
This component is built for use with proximity sensors and switches in explosive atmospheres. It can also be used in other monitoring applications such as laboratory testing, technical measurements and medical equipment.

Features & Benefits

• Distinctive Phoenix Contact green colour lets you spot it easily on your DIN rail
• ATEX hazardous area certification for use in potentially explosive environments
• Broad operating temperature range of -20°C to +60°C for use in demanding conditions
• Contacts are gold-plated to prevent corrosion for long-lasting performance
