Loctite Thread lock

The Loctite 50ml green thread lock is designed for the permanent locking and sealing of threaded fasteners. This product cures when confined in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces and prevents loosening and leakage from shock and vibration. The Loctite 276 is particularly suited for fast cure, thereby reducing the need for activators and/or for use on less active substrates such as coated or plated surfaces. Fluoresces to allow monitoring.

Features and Benefits

High strength anaerobe solution for long-term sealing of thread connections

Resistant to chemicals, depending on the medium

Release torque 60Nm

Dismantling only possible after heating to 250°C

Prevents independent loosening and seal breaks caused by impact or vibrations

Developed for connections that need to dry quickly

Well suited to more passive surfaces such as stainless steel and plated materials

Cure time is 24 hours

Low viscosity of 380 to 620mPa/s

Operating temperature ranges between -55°C and 150°C
