RS PRO Type J Thermocouple 76 mm Length, 3 mm Diameter, +500°C


Pass this thermocouple from RS PRO through the side of a tank or other container to measure the temperature of the contents. This Type J thermocouple has iron and constantan wires, making it suitable for use at temperatures of up to +500°C. The main shaft of the probe is 76 mm long with a threaded section covering the last 55 mm, allowing a nut to be fitted inside the container to hold the probe securely in place.

The rear of the probe has a standard plug with round pins to allow for connection to the thermometer via a suitable extension cable. This type of probe is commonly used in plastic extruders and injection moulders and is rated for use in high-pressure, molten plastic applications.
