Eaton Bussmann Series Red Spot™ Range, Type 'T' HBC Fuses

The Red Spot range of offset slotted fuses (or bolted tag fuses) from Eaton Bussmann is specifically designed for the protection of general industrial applications such as power distribution, cable protection and motor protection. Available in BS88 British Standard fuse sizes from A1 to A4, offset slotted and bolted fuses are suitable for general purpose rating (gG) and dual motor rating (gM) motor protection types.

Features and Benefits

• 2 to 200 A rated current
• Breaking capacity 80 kA up to 690 V ac
• Type A1 rated up to 550 V ac/ 250 V dc
• Type A2 rated up to 660 V ac / 460 V dc
• General purpose (gG) and dual motor rated (gM) types
• Low power dissipation
• ASTA 20 certified

As the fuse allows for the starting surge of a motor its full load current must not exceed the lesser of the dual current rating. e.g. 20 M25 must not have a continuous load of greater than 20A.

Eaton British Standard Fuse, B2, 200A TF200

Looking for a simple and compact device to protect your equipment from overcurrents and short circuits? With a current rating of 200A and an AC (alternating current) rating of 600V, this low-voltage electrical fuse from the Eaton range will do the job.
The fuse prevents damage by cutting off the energy flow before an overcurrent gets to your machine. By breaking itself, it acts as a sacrificial device to protect more valuable equipment. Fuses of this kind are commonly found in factories, as well as in commercial and residential buildings.

Features & Benefits

• High temperature tolerance to prevent arcing from overcurrent
• T speed to tolerate harmless surge currents without opening the fuse
• Wide offset tag width of 19.1mm to easily fit with fuse holder
• Breaking capacity of 80kA provides ample support in electrical systems

What does the voltage rating of a fuse mean?

The voltage rating of a fuse relates to its ability to safely extinguish electrical arcs in the event of a break.

Do I need to maintain fuses?

Fuses don't need regular maintenance or checking – you'll know if a fuse has blown as your system will lose power.
