Eaton British Standard Fuse, T Speed, gG Rated - TF160

If overloads are putting your system at risk, turn to this British Standard fuse from Eaton. It's a sacrificial element that steps up to stop harmful current flow from reaching your equipment. Thanks to a current rating of 160A, it's a resilient option that can keep up with high-powered applications like automotive machinery. To mount it, simply slot the built-in tags into a fuse holder. As this is a T-speed fuse, it's slow acting and tolerates small inrush currents without leaping into action and breaking the circuit unnecessarily.

Features & Benefits

• Pre-cut mounting holes for hassle-free installation
• Complies with BS 88-2 standards for safe use with voltages of up to 660V AC
• High rupture capacity ensures it can withstand increased inrush voltages

What's the difference between this fuse and a circuit breaker?

A fuse like this can only blow once, while a circuit breaker can be reset multiple times. When a fuse steps in to break the circuit, its internal wire is broken and the whole unit must be replaced. A circuit breaker comes with a toggle switch that lets you reset it after tripping.
