Eaton Bussmann Series Red Spot™ Range, Type 'T' HBC Fuses

The Red Spot range of offset slotted fuses (or bolted tag fuses) from Eaton Bussmann is specifically designed for the protection of general industrial applications such as power distribution, cable protection and motor protection. Available in BS88 British Standard fuse sizes from A1 to A4, offset slotted and bolted fuses are suitable for general purpose rating (gG) and dual motor rating (gM) motor protection types.

Features and Benefits

• 2 to 200 A rated current
• Breaking capacity 80 kA up to 690 V ac
• Type A1 rated up to 550 V ac/ 250 V dc
• Type A2 rated up to 660 V ac / 460 V dc
• General purpose (gG) and dual motor rated (gM) types
• Low power dissipation
• ASTA 20 certified

As the fuse allows for the starting surge of a motor its full load current must not exceed the lesser of the dual current rating. e.g. 20 M25 must not have a continuous load of greater than 20A.

Eaton British Standard Fuse, A3, 40A TIS40

Protect your industrial equipment from overcurrent and short circuits with this electrical fuse from Eaton's Red Spot range. This unit falls into the gG (general purpose) and gM (dual motor) categories, meaning it's compatible with both fast-acting and slow-acting electrical systems.
With a 40A current rating and an AC (alternating current) rating of 660V, this component is ideally suited to heavy-duty applications. A high rupture capacity makes it safe for use in high thermal environments. It's commonly used in wiring equipment and dual-motor circuit protection.

Features & Benefits

• 8.7mm wide offset tags for quick and easy connection to fuse holder
• Light weight of 57.45g won't place strain on your equipment
• High breaking capacity of 80kA for electrical safety
• High temperature tolerance prevents arcing due to overcurrent

Which fuses are considered to be low voltage?

Low voltage fuses are those that have a voltage rating less than or equal to 1500V.

What are British Standard fuses?

British Standard fuses are made to BS88 standards and normally feature either clip-in, centre or offset tags.
