Fuses of this kind are suitable for use in motor drives and process industries, as well as traction and power distribution applications.

Can I use this fuse to protect my components from overcurrents?
No. As an aR-type fuse, it provides protection from short circuits only, so can't be used to protect from overcurrents. To protect your components from both short circuits and overcurrents, use a gR, gS or gG-type fuse.
