RS PRO Splice Connector 0.5 → 1.5 mm², 22 → 16 AWG
Need a quick and easy way to mate, repair or lengthen wires then choose this butt splice connector from RS PRO. Simply insert the wires into the holes on the sides of the splice and squeeze down on each side of the indentation using a crimper. This achieves a safe and reliable cable connection with no need for soldering.
This splice connector is also used to terminate single wires efficiently. Using an adhesive heat shrink over these units provides insulation, enhances device safety and reduces current leakage. Robust construction ensures the unit doesn't split when crimped and also protects from wire pull-outs.
This unit is stringently tested for durability and quality. Non-insulated butt splice terminals are useful for most general cabling applications, where there is minimal chance of short-circuiting, such as in small electric devices.
