Weller Tip Activator
Introducing the Weller tip activator designed to rejuvenate solder tips by removing oxidisation and contaminates. This activator is lead free and during application the soldering iron must be hot to achieve the desired results.
Why would you buy this tip activator?
During long periods of soldering you may find you can no longer tin the tip due to oxidisation, to clean and reactivate the tip you need an activator. The process is simple, insert the soldering tip into the activator, rotating and pushing back and forth until the tip is clearly coated. To clean the tip, use a metal ball cleaner then immediately tin with new solder.
