Make the soldering process quicker with this solder sleeve from RS PRO. Simply insert two wires and heat to shrink the solder and form a tight mechanical connection between them. A broad diameter range of 3.7 mm to 6 mm means this product is a versatile choice that can accommodate a variety of wire sizes.

This solder sleeve is transparent, so you can easily inspect the wire connection by eye. It contains a pre-measured fluxed solder band and blue coloured hot-melt glue at each end to make wire measurements more accurate and efficient. The component's low-density polyethylene (PE) construction ensures fast soldering with a low shrink temperature of just +60°C.

The solder sleeve has a dielectric strength of 1 kV, so you can also use it to insulate wire terminals. Since it's waterproof, it also protects the wire from damage due to moisture, dust and dirt.
