The Uvex safety shoes feature a grippy PU20 sole for shock absorption, slip resistance, and resistance to oil and hydrocarbons, with a self-cleaning profile. Its upper is crafted from 100% recycled polyester made from PET bottles, reinforced with a TPU film and front for enhanced abrasion resistance, while the laces are also 100% recycled. The lining comprises 52% recycled polyester and 18% bamboo fibers, known for their excellent moisture absorption properties. Its tongue, made of breathable textile with stretch gussets, provides support and comfort akin to wearing slippers, while preventing material intrusion. Additionally, the non-metallic toe cap offers insulation against heat and cold, being lighter than steel and non-conductive.
