Allen Bradley 837T Series Solid State Temperature Sensors
Allen-Bradley 837T solid-state temperature sensors offer a high-accuracy comprehensive solution for measuring temperatures in liquids, gases and vapours. The 837T display model has temperature measurement ranges from -20°C to 80°C and features IO-Link communications protocol. IO-Link allows sensors to easily integrate with the connected enterprise, delivering data from the sensor directly into a control system in an easy-to-use manner. Easy on-machine programming allows the sensors to be configured manually through the Studio 5000 Logix Designer software.
The flexible 837T sensor with display offers various process connections and features a compact, rotatable housing (320°) and head (330°) to accommodate the most complicated applications. The sensors have 2 x PNP or 1 PNP and 4 mA to 20 mA analogue output configurations, probe lengths from 25 mm to 350 mm and an IP67 enclosure rating.

Allen Bradley RTD Sensor, M12 Connector, IO-Link Interface - 837T-D3G12B10PP-D4
Accurately detect temperature ranges and resistance levels with this RTD sensor from Rockwell Automation's Allen Bradley range. It's a versatile component suitable for measuring temperatures in liquids, gases and vapours. Taking readings is easy, thanks to the integrated digital display. A built-in IO-Link lets you download data from the device to your control system. For easy machine programming, you can also configure the unit manually through the Studio 5000 Logix Designer software. As the housing can rotate by 320°, it's possible to read the screen from any position. You'll find sensors like this used in automotive, electronic and medical applications.
• 10mm probe length for easier reach in confined areas
• Wide operating temperature range between -20°C and +80°C for use in challenging conditions
• IP67 rating indicates a dust-proof unit that's waterproof up to one metre for 30 minutes

How does an RTD sensor work?
It works by sensing temperature changes using a resistor that measures the current passing through it. When the temperature increases, the RTD simultaneously increases electrical resistance. This value is then converted to a temperature reading.
