Allen Bradley RCD Switch, 100mA Trip Sensitivity, 25A Current Rating - 1492-RCDA4B25

This sensitive residual current device (RCD) from Rockwell Automation's Allen Bradley range is used to quickly detect errors in current flow for electrical safety. This switch works by immediately cutting off the power supply to the circuit when there's a fault to prevent electric shocks and minimise the risk of a fire breaking out. This safety device has a fast clip feature that makes mounting it on DIN rails quick and easy. As a Type A circuit breaker it's suitable for AC (alternating current) applications in industrial environments.

• Wide operating temperature range of -25°C to +55°C for use in extreme environments• Trip sensitivity of 100mA (milliampere) for rapid response to current faults• Mechanical endurance of 20000 operations for long-lasting performance• Current rating of 25A, so suitable for high-power industrial applications• Lightweight of 350g for easy storage and handling

Standards and Certifications

• RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances)

Do I need to test this device regularly?
