RS PRO Male 9 Pin D-sub to Male 9 Pin D-sub Serial Cable

Introducing the RS PRO D9 to D9 VGA Cable, a wire pin to pin cable, ideal for connecting two serial devices. Thanks to the two D9 male connectors, this adapter allows the user to connect a 9-pin serial device to a 9-pin serial port, or even transfer files from PC to PC using a serial connection. Designed with a PVC cable flex that has a 5 mm and 28 AWG outer diameter, it also offers connector hoods made from PVC that have a strain relief that supports the cable and prevents it from splitting around the hood, ensuring a longer cable life and durability. In addition to this, this RS PRO VGA cable has gold flash pins on the connectors to stop corrosion and offer optimum performance when in use.

Features and Benefits:

  • This RS PRO D9 to D9 VGA cable has two male connectors which allows the connection of two serial devices like a display monitor and a computer

  • The cable flex has an outer diameter of 5 mm and 28 AWG, while the connectors have gold flash pins to help stop corrosion

  • The connector hoods are made from durable PVC and have a built-in strain relief on the end of each hood to support the cable, preventing it from splitting around the hood

  • The female connectors also have hex nuts to secure the cable when connected for a secure connection

Applications:

VGA cables are cable connectors that are most commonly used to transfer video signals from one unit to another. VGA stands for Video Graphics Array and they deliver analogue signals, in comparison to other cables, like HDMI cables, making them more suitable for older displays that may not have HDMI compatibility. They will most often be used to connect devices like:
  • Computers

  • Laptops

  • Projectors and monitors

  • Televisions
