Festo Exhaust Control Valve With Integrated Silencer, G 1/4, 5 Bar Proof Pressure - GRU-1/4-B

This robust and reliable exhaust control valve from Festo will help your system run quietly. It can be screwed into the exhaust of control valves or drives to restrict the air exhaust and manage the piston speed of cylinders or rotary drives. An integrated silencer reduces noise levels and improves environmental health. It's fitted with a standard G 1/4 male threaded inlet port and can handle a standard flow rate of up to 1,500 litres a minute.

• Suitable for use at pressures of up to 10 bar and can survive 5 bar of overpressure, giving it versatility and longevity
• Die-cast aluminium threaded plug offers a good strength-to-weight ratio
• Slotted-head screw for easy adjustment and defence against accidental movement

Applications

• Factory automation
• Oil and gas industries
• Chemical sector

How does a pneumatic exhaust valve work?

Exhaust valves direct the compressed air from a cylinder out into the atmosphere instead of back through the valves.

Where should I fit a pneumatic exhaust valve?

Pneumatic exhaust valves should be fitted directly on the vent side (exhaust port) of a pneumatic cylinder for optimal performance.
