Festo Quick Exhaust Valve, G 1/4 Male - SEU Series - SEU-1/4

This quick exhaust valve from Festo optimises the performance of your pneumatic systems. When connected directly to a G 1/4 cylinder port, the valve allows higher piston speeds on the return stroke for both single and double-acting cylinders. The built-in silencer reduces system noise, while a die-cast zinc housing ensures that the valve will hold up under harsh environmental conditions. The valve operates at pressures between 0.5 bar and 10 bar and is suitable for use at temperatures ranging from -20°C to +75°C.

• G 1/4 male threaded connection
• Standard nominal exhaust flow rate of 550 L/min
• Standard flow rate for exhaust 6->

0 bar of 1,000 l/min
• Nominal size of 7 mm
• Sound pressure level of 85 dB(A)
• Weight of 120 g
• NBR (nitrile rubber) seals

Range Information

• SEU exhaust valves from Festo are used in pneumatic systems to increase speed and reduce back pressure
• They're ATEX certified, meaning they can be used in explosive atmospheres
• A wide range of operating pressures is available
• Use them in challenging environments such as chemical engineering or oil and gas processes

These components allow higher piston speeds to be achieved on the return stroke of single and double-acting cylinders.Compressed air flows from the pilot valve and via the quick exhaust valve to the cylinder. The exhaust port 3 is closed at this time. When the pressure at 1 falls, exhaust flow occurs from 2 to 3. In order to achieve the full benefit of the quick exhaust function, the valve must be connected directly to the port of the cylinder. In the quick exhaust valve SEU the exhaust noise is reduced by a silencer.
