Festo Double-Acting Pneumatic Compact Cylinder, 32mm Bore, 30mm Stroke - ADN-32-30-A-PPS-A

Use this compact double-acting cylinder from Festo for industrial operations where space is limited. It has a maximum operating pressure of 10 bar, so it's suitable for high-performance applications. The unit has two ports on its ends that move its pistons back and forth by alternating which port receives the compressed air. Thanks to an anodised wrought-aluminium-alloy barrel material, this component is robust enough to withstand the movement of the cylinder piston without wear. It's used in the process and packaging industries, as well as in small material handling equipment.

• Can be assembled in any position for design flexibility
• Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) seal material to prevent air leaks and optimise performance
• High-alloy steel piston for durability and impact resistance
• Lubricated operation possible for extended lifespan
• Extend and return stroke force of 483N and 415N for medium-duty applications

Applications

• Assembly lines
• Material handling equipment
• Mechanical sorters
• Punching machines

What does stroke mean for pneumatic cylinders?
