Festo Pneumatic Guided Cylinder, G1/4 Connection, -20°C to +80°C Operating Temperature Range - DFM-50-50-P-A-GF

Need to set workpieces in exactly the right place? Push, pull, lift and lower them with this pneumatic guided cylinder from Festo. It features a port at each end to let compressed air in and out, which drives the piston in both directions. Flexible cushioning at both ends softens the blow from the rod to reduce noise while cutting wear and vibration out of the equation. As this cylinder combines drive and guide units in one housing, you get a reliably rigid device that handles substantial loads.

Features & Benefits

• Safe performance in an ambient temperature range of -20°C to +80°C
• Integrated slots in the body give you the option to mount a proximity sensor
• Gets on with its job quickly, thanks to an operating speed of 0.6m/s

Applications

• Oil and gas industry
• Agricultural equipment
• Robotics systems

What's the operating pressure range of this device?

It has an operating pressure range between 1 and 10 bar, making it suitable for low-pressure pneumatic setups.

What material is the cylinder made of?

The piston rod is made of rugged high-alloy steel that resists corrosion. As the housing is constructed out of wrought aluminium alloy, it's tough enough for use in challenging settings.
