Festo Pneumatic Fitting, Straight Threaded-to-Tube Adaptor, Brass Body Material - QSF-1/8-6-B

Quickly connect threaded fittings to tubing in your pneumatic system with this straight threaded-to-tube adaptor from Festo. For wide compatibility, one end is a G1/8 female connector and the other is a 6mm push-in connector. The robust fitting's housing is made of nickel-plated brass that resists corrosion in damp or humid settings. A high-alloy steel retaining claw on the push-in fitting side holds the tubing securely in place without damaging it. For versatility, the fitting can be used at pressures of up to 14 bar.

• Operating temperature range of -10°C to +80°C makes it suitable for use in demanding environments
• Nitrile rubber seal guards against leakage to ensure efficient operation of the system
• POM release ring combines stiffness with low friction to stand up to repeated use

Applications

• Pharmaceutical industry
• Production lines
• Mining equipment

Should I choose a push-in fitting or a barb fitting?

Push-in fittings are ideal if you make frequent connections and disconnections. They're more suitable for use with stiffer hoses. Barb fittings are a better option for softer hoses, as they're less likely to damage the tubing.
