RS PRO Black Polyetheretherketone PEEK Rod, 300 mm x 20 mm Diameter

Use this PolyEtherEtherKetone (PEEK) rod from RS PRO if you need a rod that slides well and can withstand harsh environmental conditions. You'll commonly find it in the automotive, aerospace and medical industries.

For added durability, the rod contains graphite and carbon. The polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) material in the rod minimises friction, so you won't need to use it with a lubricant. It won't degrade when exposed to superheated steam thanks to its hydrolysis resistance.

This product minimises fire hazards thanks to its Underwriters Laboratories flammability rating of UL 94 V-0, indicating that it turns molten without catching fire. The rod is suitable for a variety of applications, such as oil and gas processing equipment, medical devices and valve seats in steam and water mixers.
